I was published this month in the Chihuahua Connection. Well sort of. I wrote about how the Chis helped pay for Mike’s medical bills and how God blessed us with the money and continues to provide just the right amount for us to pay the expenses. They even let me give God the Glory, the last line reads
God has truly blessed the Treolo household and kennel!
August Newsletter Copy Deadline July 4, 2006

Just a reminder - copy deadline for the August Newsletter is July 10th. If you were not assigned something specific, but have something you would like to submit for consideration, please send it to me. Make sure you send your best work - edit, tweek, edit, edit, edit. We want our work to be excellent. Community interest or editorial pieces would be great. Ministry spotlight pieces, testimonies, short stories, poetry, art, photography…etc. are welcome. Please note that unassigned pieces may or may not be included. Decisions are based on content, relevence and space avaialability. We will keep good pieces in cue for future publications if space is not currently available.
Ultimately, we want to find ways to distribute the newsletter outside our church family. To that end, we have to make sure our work communicates our message while keeping it relevent to the community at large. Let’s reach some people through our writing! If you have any creative distribution ideas, we’d like to hear them.
We also need a title for our newsletter….Newsletter is soooo boring. It has become much more than that. As you are thinking, consider where we are trying to take this publication. If you come up with any ideas let us know.

Yeah! We finally got the new Writers’ Guild Blog up and running. If you are a member of The ROCK Writers’ Guild you should have received an email from me with instructions and login information. If you did not receive and email, please email me so that we can get you set up.
We hope you will take full advantage of this blog. Write, write, write - and let us see! The site will be a work in progress for some time to come. We will be adding opportunities and resources for you to use to help you hone your skills. We will also be posting guild assignments, and special announcements.
I’m so excited!!! So, who’s going to be the first to kick us off?
